My EL Dual Fuel Falcon is very hard to start when it has been sitting for a while. Including over night and whilst im at work (8 hour shifts).
Also will not run on petrol. However it runs great on LPG when it finally switches over from petrol. I'm thinking the problem is with the petrol part of the system.. Derr! Maybe the fuel pump is knacked! But i really dont know. Any ideas? Thank you in advance Billy Last edited by billy65 on Sun May 09, 2010 8:40 pm, edited 1 time in total. |

pump or filter.
If not those, injectors.

if you havn't run it on petrol for a while then it will be the intectors. if theres no petrol in the tank either will be your fuel pump.

Turned out to be VERY dirty injectors. I put a reco set in and bang it run like it did when i brought the car new (12 years ago).
All those suggestions I received were spot on the money! I plan on running it on petrol for at least 30 minutes per week from now on. Thanks for the advice friends. |
