Just wondering that sort of extractors people are running with their gas converters mounted on your drivers side strut top. I think pacemaker do an LPG specific extractor but it does not look like there is a whole lot of room to fit them still. Are most people moving their converters out of the way and if so where are you moving them to and was it much effort.

If E series then I installed an AU header tank and relocated the convertor to where the Header tank was originally mounted.

Yeah should of been more clearer the car in question is an Ed. You wouldnt happen to have some pics of where you moved your converter to?

Some extractors will still fit. Depending on your setup its teh Pacemaker PH4499's your after, even then they would be a tight fit methinks with any lpg setup.

Had genie extractors and factory gas on a El just raised the mounting brkt higher gassa

I have genies on my gas setup now...
apart from making a heat shield as required by law over here.. I didnt' have to do anything. from factory. |

Was looking at the pacy 4499's. I think ill go and check them out. Anyone got a good set for sale?.

I had the same problem with my AU. I was told the 4499's would fit, but you still need to have minimum clearance from the converter. Forget what the distance was, but it also depended on the type of converter you have. I had a VIALLE converter which was a huge bastard. So it made it twice as hard to sort out.
There is a couple of ways you could do it. 1 is to fit the BA header tank in with associated hosing, and relocated the converter further forward so it sits under the header tank more directly. This should clear your number 3 pipe from the extractors. OR you get your converter re-plumbed to another location in the engine bay.

Yep I have a huge poliauto converter aswell. Makes it a bit difficult when it comes to relocation

I have moved my Impco convertor from the passenger side to the drivers side. There is plenty of clearance with the convertor mounted in this position. They are Pacemaker Extractors.
You may need to lift the convertor up somewhat by modifying the mounting bracket. BenJ
