Just a quick question,
Were there any factory EF/EL LPG systems that had the LPG switch mounted up where the Rear demist button is? Or are they all located in place of the central locking button?

I am asking because I will be fitting LPG in the next couple of weeks, and I do not like where the switch is located.

I've got a genuine LPG switch and it's small, it would sit on either the left or the right of the steering wheel as it's much smaller than the rear demister switch, it's about the same size as the fuel flap release button.

I think the AUs had the gas switch where you are thinking.

I think the EF had it in place of the door lock button, same with the AU!
I fitted the factory switch to my AU, i got rid of the door lock button as it's not needed anyway.

after market switches are mounted near the demist button usually, it'd be unusual if it were mounted where the stock switch goes, probably wouldn't fit there anyway

Mine was a toggle switch mounted under the dash (see pic). LPG gauge is running off factory fuel gauge - also gained the trip computer readings for LPG, too.

That is an old pic as I have updated to the high series stereo system.
