Okay, so not paying attention to the wires when putting the switch back in my 98 EL wagon i attatched the earth lead to the 12v plug and quickly smoked. after doing this, the car would under no circumstance run or switch to LPG. My dad decided to run a seperate earth lead under the steering columb that will allow it to switch when you connest a test light to the wire and tap the metal harness on the steering columb. I'm not too happy about driving my car with computers at my feet and constantly changing to LPG with a test light at 100k's. also, sometimes it will stall when under no revs (stopping at lights, corners etc) but am more worried about getting this switch problem sorted right now. ANY help is greatly appreciated
