Hi guys,

My head gasket went so I decided to get gas fitted as well... Long story short a good family friend is doing the conversion and fixing the headgasket for me. He is sorcing a new gas head so I wont have any isues in the future and here is the really good part, Im getting gas injection as well!

He has done it alot to other cars and he rekons its no problem... so I should get more power and more economy as well... And no back fire ever! hahaha I should have the car back by early next week and I'll post up pics as well!

If so, How much is it? Cos I have a complete setup here I'd like to part with.

I didnt think it was possable due to the ignition set up on EL's and the way it fires?

Id love to be proven wrong as it would solve a few things for me!

The car I removed mine from was an EF, so it ran Batch.

However, It has its own ecu, Never looked into it, but I know it ran off three injector pulses.

I had gas injection fit many years ago to my EB, and in the ECU you can set it to run batch or sequential injection. I don't know of any gas injection system you can get in this country that isn't capable of both these days.

Cheers

Yeh just want to compare petrol and lpg usuage as then we can see how much percent extra lpg needed to do the same kms as petrol and it seems the figures are good from what ur saying.

Maybe u should do a comparison test then u can figure out how soon u pay off ur lpg install and how much money u save per yr.

If your getting more kms then u better do a comparison test as its not possible as all vapour & liquid injection LPG kits vary from 8-15% more lpg than petrol.

Get some pictures and information on the lpg kit u have used as this is very interesting and seems u are getting awsome kms per tank.
