Im sure that a EA- ED sedan will have the same size tank behind there rear seat so how big litres wise is it and how much litres do most people fill it with from empty to full?

Im trying to work out if my car is filling enough in it as others are.

for the last 4 fills i seem to be getting about 280-290kms driving around sydney metro. What do others who drive around sydney get full tank kms on lpg??

Mine is an 85Ltr Tank but the most I have ever put into it was 56.5ltr's. I generally get around 250-300klm's to a tank running around newie, but I was born with a defective right foot (it's a bit heavy  )

The V8's definitely use a bit more gas. I fill up with 65L of LPG and get about 310 around town. 400 combined hwy (I drive to Newcastle once a week).

That's on the 185KW AU V8.

Considering these engines are spec'd to use around 14L/100km, and LPG uses about 25% more fuel, to be getting 20L/100km isn't the end of the world. You might be able to get it down to 16-18/100 with some serious tuning, or a different LPG system.

Ive had the car tuned and it runs so smooth, starts up on lpg all day everyday even in the early cold no problems.
The guy that tuned it said it will be more economical but im losing my kms.
Before i had it tuned i would do 310kms but it would be a bastard to start on lpg. Now its a dream to start and i only do 285kms

I just did a 1750km road trip and averaged 13L/100km for the trip. Not a alot of it was on dual carriage way either.
And Im only running standard plugs too, I couldnt get any proper ones before the trip.

Usually most tanks fitted are APA and 68-72L Usable capacity. They are usually 90L and only fill to about 80% to allow expansion. I use 17L P/100 around town and 12-14L P/100 Freeway on a factory fit Fairlane and 22L P100 town and 16-18L P100 on a factory fitted tickford system in a EL ghia.
