unbolt the components, drive down the road fast with your bonnet open and then hit the brakes really hard. all the gas components will fly off. then you've just gotta find where they went flying to and pick them up. or you may get done for littering

cigarette lighter and a hammer? just unbolt it, if it vents it vents, let it vent till its empty. as for the greenies who dont agree, setting your kombi on fire and pushing it down a hill will be better for the enviroment than starting the engine.

WTF is it with you and throwing around s**t about compliance with rules you have never even seen.

The rule states there must be a minimum if 150mm between the heat source and the heat affected item with NO heat shield. With the fittment of a heat shield NOT LESS then 15mm from the protected item the distance can be reduced to 40mm.

PS. I went and rechecked about your s**t balance line and tuning crap you going on about.
Low and behold, AS1425 (the standard to which vehicle engine fuel LPG system need to comply)
In the section that covers commissioning and certifying, it actually states in plain English that the tuning of the system IS NOT COVERED by the standard.

So the next time your uninformed brain thinks it might post some "advice" about complying with AS1425, maybe you just don't post anything.

This was pretty much what I found out when I was chasing it up - a good rule of thumb (if you can call it that)is stretch your hand clenching middle fingers, and roughly 150mm is the distance from the tip of your pinky to the tip of your thumb.

Again GUYS
If the minimum measurement is not aheared to, then a separate heat sheild has to be installed into the converter face as Instructed by the aarb Inspector who inspected my car as it was inspected due to a complaint by me.
