Bit bored tonight so just browsing through Ebay when I came across this one! Another "add on" that claims to boost mileage by up to 40% . Damn Japs must think us aussies are a bunch of dumb f**k! I'll let all you budding engineers pick the s**t out of this one!

I reckon! Let's see now. If I get this "voltage booster", one of those "modules" (50c resistor) that you plug into your air intake sensor, add a hi-clone to my air intake hose to "create a tornado effect" and add a couple of "hi power magnets" to my fuel lines, I should reasonably expect to increase my fuel economy and power output by at least 110% right?? Oh, and my fuel burn will be so efficient that not only will I have 0 emmissions, Peter Garrett will present me with an award for saving man kind and the environment.

I think it might be a small capacitator. it says just connect the thing to pos and neg terminals, and that it saves electricity. fkn japs. |

lol. the electrical energy used in a combustion engine is used to fire the sparkplug. it does not continue to be used for the entire reaction just to ignite the mixture. to me that device could be nothing but a capacitor, which may smoth the voltage fluctuations of a cars electrical system for a second? 1/2 a second? i HIGHLY doubt this would have any influence to the power of the spark at the sparkplug. wow the coil charged at 12v instead of 11.9 for a split second. if your concerned about this get a MSD box or similar. that will actually charge the coil at a substantially higher voltage (460-480volts instead of 12) and have the ability to recharge it faster. add this one to the pile with the fuel magnetizers and the electric turbos. mitch

Oi! you forgot the Peter Brock Polarizer. When fitting one of those, you will also need to deflate the tyres to 22PSI

If you wanted to keep the coil voltage constant, shouldn't you put this device on your coil instead of the battery???
And even if you did, it would make sweet bugger all difference since when you turn on your fan, audio, etc, the regulator in alternator pumps out more current to keep the voltage constant, so this device truly is a waste of time and money. If you have a voltage meter in dash car, turn on your lights, hi-beams, fan, etc and see if the voltage drops... Ren. |

probably a 100uf or something similar.
hehe may stabalise the voltage by 0.001 % in real lif application. Although fixing your tyre pressure will have better results |
