How low can it go?
I'm interested in buying a dedicated LPG BA, and am wondering whether or not it can be lowered significantly without comprimising the cylinders Thanks |

If its dedicated gas then the gas cylinder would be in the place of the spare wheel not somewhere dangerous like in the undercarriage. So from that i assume it wouldn't damage the cylinder.

dedicated gas ones take up the under boot area (all of it)
i think the tanks are exposed, not 100%, they may have a simple sheild.

Yeah the AU has a shield, AU2SR has lowered his ded AU without any probs.
He fitted King lows but i think it sits a bit lower than normal lows. By the way, he lives up a rough as guts dirt road with pot holes and ditches. |

Got my AU E-Gas on standard King lows and have had absolutely no problems with clearance or ride even on craptacular NSW roads.
If i was you though, id try to get the Heavy Duty version (yes there is one) of the Lows on the rear, if you can.

I put King lows in my Lane and got the heavy duty rears, it's only an extra 100 pounds, i got them to help compensate for the LPG tank.

I was wrong to say they were exposed there is a shied.
i just saw two white tanks out the side of the metal sheet and assumed the tanks had an uninhibited view of the road. my apologies. when i've earn't the dough i'll go get one. Thanks guys |

U have the work ute lowered a bit ... but my tanks are in front of the rear axle ... both are shielded as well.
I have only lowered it 1.5" ... loading dock driveways can be a real b**ch sometimes ... especially when loaded up.
