I just rang my mate for an OMVL R90e and off the top of his head he said no more than $250 brand new.
I asked him again for a price on the large Vialle to suit the Falcon, he said they're over $1000, although there are smaller models that are cheaper but would be too small for the I6.

Go OMVL. You can tune it yourself and they hardly ever go out of tune, except for the first 1000k's while the diaphram stretches.

cheers
Scott

You're running a Poliauto, they are now known as Vialle and if you can find a new one below $800 i'll take 10 of them... Even a kit for it will cost you a small fortune!

Replace it with an OMVL R90E, you'll never have a problem again.

Brand new Vialle convertors are around $350-380 depending on the model, unless you buy from Ford where the $800 is more the figure you will pay..

You've said this once before and i told you i'll take 10 of them if you can get them.
Ask for a price on a replacement Vialle to suit a Falcon.
People don't buy them because they are minimum twice the price of anything else.

I priced a Poliauto (Same as Vialle) 9 years ago and they were $550 back then, a kit for one was about $200, i ended up fitting a new BRC which cost me about $180 from memory and worked just as well as the Poli and was more reliable.

Now i stick with OMVL.
Sorry Walker I don't recall the previous conversation. I bought one not 6 months ago for my EL and it was $380. I priced the AU one for $350 but the guy could not tell me the difference to the correct one for an EL. Unless we are not talking the same thing, the picture above looks totally different to the ford units :? ? There was no special price when I got mine and that included $15 delivery to Canberra. If you are seriously needing 10 I am sure they will do a better deal than that. :)

Wouldn't bother putting a kit in it, for an extra $100 you can get a new convertor. I just fitted a Airod Convertor to my EF which has Tickford Gas, cost around $300.00..

Well Walker just posted that OMVL is cheaper and better

Walker is a mechanic, has his own business and as you will see is on the ball with mechanical problems.

As for me, I am a mechanic, licensed for CNG/LPG, don't have my own business, can't stand even the thought of looking at an engine these days, that said, keep on listening to "Walker" and not me

PS Walker is an old bastard too!

You might be able to get some work out of this Paul  Not that you would want to do it.

If he were over the Northern side of town i'd help him out, there isn't much in fitting a different convertor, how they can justify charging $200 on top of the profit he is making on the price of convertor has got me f**k.
