I see they have updated their web page. They used to sell the same type of switches to go in the panel housing the demister and aerial that also had a row of leds in showing approx lpg level. Thats what I have in mine. Stan |

Yeh mine is different. It has a push button with a column of 4 green LEDs that give approximate fuel level and a red one at the bottom that lights up when getting low and then starts flashing when almost empty. It also has an orange LED at the top that lights up when running on petrol (not very often)

I got mine from http://www.peelinstruments.com.au/products.html#top . It's not listed, but they do the in-dash ones for EF/EL where the rear wiper button is in the wagons (or aerial button is in the ghias if you have a wagon). Neat job, posted it out to me, great support too.

I run 2 cars on gas, the oldest has a similar switch to the one shown, and for the 1st time in 15 years, its given me a false reading,(showed a 1/4 when it was actually mt!)
The newer has the small round switch that fits in the aerial hole, but I fitted it to the cigarette lighter hole. (Perfect fit.) The older type switch I'm watching closely to see if it gives me another false reading, so far is correct. (3/4) Anyone got any ideas why it did this? |
