hey every1 my au fairmont fuel gauge for my lpg aint workin to well
Anywhere below half a tank and it doesnt register on the gauge on the dash or the tank. Why is this happening and how do i fix it??? It has a split air intake ducting pipe which goes from the air box to the manifold, could this be a factor? Its an auI and the gas system is a stm with an italian mixer. Also being a fairmont it have a kilometer counter which displays how many kms are left in the tank, this also fails to work under half and the beepin sayin its low is drovin me mad!!! Any feedback , suggestions or ideas are greatly appreciated thanks in advance

It could be a faulty gauge on the tank I would say. If you decide to change it yourself ( illegal) make sure you use gas tape and not water tape. Also check the wires from the gauge as well as they might have some corrosion on them.

I had a valve problem and it backfired a lot blowing the rubber ducting to bits and blew up the box haha I'm guessing its a back pressure or vacuum problem as it worked fine before the valve went but I sold the car and that fixed the prob
