hi I have a 6cyl in a ba falcon with lpg system which keeps freezing up it has a new converter new radiator new thermostat and new water pump but keeps freezing up all the time any ideas on what the problem might be thanks

Is the converter plumbed up to the heater core? - if its done that way, and the heater is turned off the water flow stops.
Most conversions either "T" the converter in (so theres always water flowing), or I know on earlier falcons there was a hose going from the rear water to the thermostat that was a bypass you could use. Nigel |

yep ... water/coolant must ALWAYS be flowing thru your converter otherwise you end up with it freezing, as you have it now.

Turn your heater on and then run the car and see if it still freezes, if it doesn't freeze with the heater on its been plumbed up incorrectly (talking from experience of a ford i once owned), and with all the freezing its likely stuffed the new converter too
