Hello,

Just since yesterday, my V8 Fairlane is not starting on lpg, then I try and start the car I now do not hear the clicking noise when you turn the key like the fuel pump is not working and the engine just cranks over and sounds like theres no fuel in the tank, but starts straight away on petrol what is the problem?

What sort of converter?
I have brc at90e converters in both mind mounted upside down. The short of it is that the parafin in the gas builds up in the solenoid on the converter and it gets sticky. Easy enough to disassemble and clean

The tank solenoids can also fail and that will stop the flow of LPG too

My mate had trouble with his toy car (hx gts mockup) that hasn't been started for over a month, the LPG lock off's just wouldn't open up. A few very gentle taps with a screwdriver, then hit the key again & they opened up & flowed gas, car started fine then.

Cheers

Check to make sure the solenoid gets power. If it does, replace the solenoid. This is fairly common. If it doesn't, trace back and figure out what's wrong. Most likely a fuse at the LPG computer or the computer has failed

The solenoid is simple to replace. LPG shop might sell you one or might not. They aren't terribly expensive though
