SVI is what you mean - what brand system is it? ... have heard some not so nice things about parnel have had a sprintgas SVI system in my BA for about 14,000ish ks now, runs beautiful all the time forget the EF, they are pretty crappy in comparison to SVI systems - also the EFs came with built in head problems .. haven't of any BAs suffering from the same manufacturers fault |

Hi. I just got my 03 BA XT converted to a OMVL/Sprint Gas setup. Don't know about you blokes but do you get a low pressure problem (e.g. it switches back to Petrol) if you plant the foot? I only got it done this week, so I'm not sure if this is a normal thing or not?

that should only happen when you have low gas levels in the tank - if it's happening at other times you better get them to fix that cause it isn't supposed to happen

Have you got an injected system or a mixer system? Some injected systems will switch to petrol operation at extreme engine speeds. Regards, Dave

only time my sprintgas system switches is when there is low gas levels, it only happens when the red light is on and only when the red lights been on for a while, ie it doesn't switch just after the red light comes on

i have posted pics here http://www.fordmods.com/forums/pics-of-my-new-tartarini-auto-lpg-sequential-system-t55645.html unusual cyclinder instal, never seen one that goes through the floor before - they usually go thru the wheel arch also different is the engine bay, with the others i've seen the gas lines go around the back of the motor not around the front have heard good things about the tart system tho, good performers for sure just noticed yours doesn't have an additional heat shield between the convertor and the exhaust, only ever seen 1 other setup like that, maybe it's not a rule in your state, it is in WA ... don't know why, when the manifold is shielded it's seems unnecessary to me |
