g'day after crashing my old car (god bless her soul) i recently purchased a ef fairmont, stock!. Long story short my dads a lpg installer/ distributor of lpg products and well, he decided he wanted to inject my ef... and all i have to say is gawd damn lol... economy, 430k's to a tank atm and the tuning isnt the greatest at all. Previously considering my heavy foot i was getting 320 to 350 out of a tank. i was amazed at the power difference as well, anyway i just thought id post some photos and let you guys have a look.

my old man said they would never bother fitting it or selling it due to the time it requires to set up, all i know is after a day of him tuning it its much better then what it was and he still is saying its only about 60%... he said its close to about 4 to 4500 if they would do it.. my old car was using a lovato system with a brc converter, driving normally around the city it could hit 460k's. im yet to drive the new one normally to check :P

does it run off the stock ECU??

If a car was to have a normal electronic GAS setup already fitted, would this lower the cost of the injection setup or is it all different??

Is that the gas ECU next to the brake master cylinder? I am talking about the black box and wires.

correct that is the ecu but its cut into the stock ecu, i know he cut the wires for the petrol injectors so there bypassed into the gas ecu

What brand is this system, if you don't know can you ask your dad for the specs please and injection parts (not tank and lines etc) price only, not fitted etc.

what make these gas injections systems expensive?

is it that they require more labour in the fitting and tuning or is it the parts?

can you convert an older mixer system to injection and use your old tank?

Looks so much neater, more power, I'd also like to know how much to convert if you already have LPG fitted..

they are more expensive cause of the gas injectors and gas cpu .u cna use your original tank and lines if the line goes to the spot that the new convetor goes.plus new line isnt really expensive anyway
