Yes you can put a larger Gas mixer, but this may require a fair bit of plumbing and other adjustments.
The basic configuration should be fairly good, altho quite restrictive but not really THAT noticable on a stocko car.

I'd be willing to bed that he is refering to the mixer in the air intake. It is possible, but it probably wouldn't work to well. Reason being is that LPG system relised on the venturi that having the smaller ID mixer in tha air intake creates, this draws the LPG out of the mixer and into the air going into the engine. Therefor the amount of air going through sucking out the LPG determines how much LPG is going out too. Fitting a larger one would reduce this venturi and I would be worried that it mihgt stop the LPG functioning. The above is at least my basic understanding of how the LPG system works... Might wanna look at companies like Gas Reserarch Australia (GRA) who make replacement throttle bodies with the mixer built in, they seem to be more efficent. Alternatively you might be refering to your throttle body, if so, you can get larger ones, but not worth it. |
