thinking to replace the motor in my EF LPG wagon. A friend has offered his spare EL motor but it was not used on LPG before. I don't think the EF motor has anything special about it for LPG usage, but then I don't know its full history. Any issues using LPG on a non LPG motor?

so your EF motor is just a normal petrol engine running on LPG.

ok,motor is in, running really well...except when towing damn thing backfires severely on LPG so that the induction hose to the mixer blows off, and thats even with the airbox clamped so it will allow gas to escape...never did this b4...only some very minor backfiring upon startup on ocassion

happens same place everytime, damn roundabout, low speed, slight uphill, foot down about 1/3, BANG!!!!....like the driveshaft just snapped...wtf...my heart has missed too many beats
