really interested to see how people using the impco 200 and 225 mixers have gone getting a good tune out of the setup....its not a bad mixer flow wise but is a not perfect for mixture control

ive got mixtures all over the place...ie idle cruise power, hot cold etc

the fuel contoller is garbage...its so slow to react and gives hugely lean mixtures on take off ( but is good for cruise)

also trying to fix bad backfiring when starting (done plugs and leads)

there is a couple of good commodore forums covering lpg stuff

im looking at putting a GRA 510 on to my 4.0, as i feel the impco 200 isnt big enough. I have got the mixer just need time to make a spacer plate for the TPS switch and a few other minor mods before I do it.

I have used the 200,225,300 and 425's in various applications, each has its benifets. If there was room would of looked at using either the 425 or a 300A for my car, but figured the GRA was the better way as there just isnt much room in the engine bay..althou was thinking of cutting a hole in the bonnet and mounting a 300a on a adaptor pipe and having it thru the bonnet. But figured it might be cop bait, and the last thing I want

I have been considering using a 425 in a flow through application and by retaining the Log manifold, might have the room where the airbox currently is.

a GRA 510 is probably a bit big/overkill for a 4L.

440 is normally used on a 4L.

I'm running a 400 on mine.

I'll be interested to see how it goes with a 510.... probably be a bit of a b**ch to tune.

Couldn't be to difficult to do. They are such a simple setup. Do you have one handy?

Not yet. It will be one of those things that will need to fall into my lap at the right time when I have the $$$$ in my pocket LOL

Why? Do you have one laying around?

Normally I would agree, however mine is no where near stock, its pumping out 140rwkw on petrol and 136 on LPG adn running out of fuel. Im running 11.3:1 comp, CMS stg 111 cam, and a mildly ported head. However there is another head in the pipeline with much bigger valves and lots more porting, and possibly a bigger cam again
