No, don't get LPG... it's crap!!!
( No... you can't look in my boot... ) Nah seriously, LPG is worth it!! Trip from Penrith, to Forster and back on petrol: $155.00 Same trip on LPG: ~$65.00-$70.00 Your 4L car running cheaper than your Grandma's Festiva: PRICELESS!!

how many k's do u do?
everything needs to up to scratch when running on lpg....heads generally dont like it much...$$$ and ign sys needs to be tip top...more $ your car will NOT be cheaper than a festiva to run (maybe on fwy, not around the city) around the city will use 18-19Lt/100 LPG...a festiva would use 8 petrol still I run it...I just expect as much as i used to...and if petrol keeps coming down and LPG doesnt I may reconsider still running it.... the performance difference is very noticable when u put your foot down

My car DOES run cheaper than my grandmother's festiva. City use is about the same, but my car is definitely cheaper for FWY use. It costs me $80-$90 to run the Festiva from Penrith to Forster and back. Having said that, my LPG is factory fitted -- but otherwise sounds like your LPG system could do with a tune, it's running a tad rich!!
