(Bear with me i am a female and have NO idea about cars!)I have just notcied a fuel smell coming from my 2003 BA so i got under and had a look and fuel is coming out of the gasket looking bit that the pipe that the petrol goes into when you fill it up,if that makes sense?
so is this easy to fix or expensive big job? Sorry i know that makes no sense but i dont know what its all called, |

Might be a good idea to put up a photo of where you are talking about.
But reading your vague description, I'd say you won't have too many drama's getting it sorted.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't that hose clamp be moved up to the end of the hose and tightened?

Maybe, there is another clamp on the very end,but the fuel seems to be coming from around the white part??like around the edges of it more so than the actual hose if that makes sense?
