Ok guys so i drove about 45minutes on my way home when the car died slightly then started running again then completely dies, after that the car smelt strongly of lpg and won't start on either lpg or petrol, the battery's fine and the starter motor goes but neither lpg or petrol is reaching the engine.

Any help is really appreciated oh and the lpg is only 4 months old so i can take it back to them but i first wanted an idea of what might have caused it.

Cheers,

Pat

1) did the coverter freeze?

2) have you tried flicking the change-over switch a couple of times, it may be faulty.

3) make sure you can hear the (lpg) solenoids or relays click when you turn on the ignition.

4) sometimes, when the fuel pump fails for whatever reason, the car wont start in lpg, as it needs to "see" that the fuel pump works in order to "ok" the ignition.
