Hey guys I have a dual fuel ef fairmont... I was thinking of going to straight gas as i was told you can get better power and economy as the tune is only for gas not gas and petrol could someone confirm this?
Do you know if they could use a bigger tank at all and if they could use my fuel gauge as the lpg gauge instead of the small 4 bar light they installed originally? Also how much do you think i'm looking at? Cheers, Pat

pretty sure straight gas can achieve more power with the right tune, because its a higher octane than petrol (some one correct me if im wrong)
also i believe your fuel tank can be replaced and a gas tank fitter there, saving your boot space. as for price im not sure but im interested to know

Do it. get rid of the petrol tank, (sell the pump, welsh plug the injector holes and ebay them as well) put the filler in where the petrol used to go in , tune it, you will never look back.
They run great on straight gas. |
