Allright ive been keeping my dockets for the past month and a bit and have noticed difference in litres filled. I always drive the car till it starts losing power then switch to petrol till i get to a servo.
I have 5 dockets with 66.-- ltrs 1 with 61.43 ltrs 1 with 64.35 ltrs 1 with 67.57 litrs 1 with 68.11 ltrs 1 with 69.72 ltrs with the car doing around 290-300kms. Now ive noticed that after today when i filled up- (66.72 ltrs) i looked at the tank gauge and it was in the middle of 3/4 and full ( i drove on fuel for 15 kms to see if it will budge but in did not). Is there a reason why i only average 66 ltrs per tank fill or is something stopping it from filing as i did 69.72 ltrs once? I dont know what tank size i have but it will most likely be the same as all EA-ED.

Your auto fill valve is temperature dependent. A hot day (or when your lpg tank is hot) will have the valve seeing the tank full with less lpg in the tank. Conversely on a cold day (or when the lpg tank is cold) will have the valve allowing more lpg in before clicking off.
It is just a safety thing as lpg expands with heat. cheers Scott
