Hi, Have a modded 351C running a duel fuel system (New gen gas hat and OMVL 90 converter). Looking at the idea of switching to Techno carb for better flow and performance, will this work with current converter or are there any mod's for the new gen mixer.

you can't run a technocarb as a duel fuel must be straight gas set up only like this....

Just asking out of curiousity whats a carb like this worth?
Would this work better than a Gas Research setup?
Regards

the throttle shaft is similar to the holley set up I'll have a look at the one at work & see if something can be fitted.

That would be awesome - thanks

Is there a link to any information about the carb anywhere? - is it considered the "off-road" series??

http://www.technocarb.com

also had a look at the throtle shaft there is nothing there that you can just bolt directly to but with some imagination I'm sure that something can be fabricated to have one working

cheers

There has been talk that LPG requires 15% greater CFM compared to petrol, any comments.

If so, trying to work out the right size techno carb to fit to a mild 351C using a R90 converter

I dont know the exact figures, but that certainly stands for Injected Engines - as they dont have the fuel introduced until close to the valve

The losses compared to carb. Engines is lower, but its still there. LPG expands/mixes much more thoroughly.

Check with Crescent on Sizing - they have some experience
