was wondering if there has been much effort or success with running the 4l motor's , being turboed and running on straight gas?

yep, you can run gas injection, or the gas throttle body , your best bet would be to go on boostedfalcon.net and have a poke around, "misk" on there is running his ed on dual fuel without too many problems

GRA throttle + dual converters

easy!
