Hi fellas as some of you may know I had a vapour injection system installed by south east lpg in Rowville which I now have to remove because it does not meet Aussie standards. (Stay away from them at all costs).
Therefore I am now in e market for a new kit. Bear in mind I need something boost friendly as I am getting a snort supercharger installed shortly. The car will be a daily and will be set up for both petrol and lpg. It will be mainly driven on lpg. Being a daily with standard engine I don't see myself pushing it past 300rwk. Is there any kits anyone would recommend? What are some of the companies that make vapour injection kits. I only know of brc and prins. Are there any others? Cheers in advance |

i'll have to confirm it, but i think the last one he quoted for an xh was around the $2000mark plus install, but that already had a tank etc setup in it.

Cool no problems. Yeah most of my parts can be reused as I was running duel fuel before. I just need to ensure these kits can perform under boost. How much for the liquid injection kits?

I did a little more research today on both liquid injection and vapour injection.
Prins said I would be looking at a kit for around $2400 for a vapour injection kit installed. Sprint Gas- said they dont even do a vapour injection kit for the EL and advised against it and told me to consider the mixer ring set up Tartarini- It sounded like an old wog guy who knew very little about the kit and said he would send me some info but a vapour kit was aound $2200 I spoke to Liquid LPG and again they do not supply any kits for the EL. A BA liquid injection kit was worth $3800 but its only to suit standard engines as they do not deal with any supercharger or turbo applications BRC- Sounded promising and the only company that offered 3year warranty compared to the normal 12mths. They are yet to come back to me with a price. With all the vapour kits I enquired about they said they were good enough to support upto 400rwk. With all the kits they would be supplying a map sensor to suit the supercharger and a second converter to keep up along with bigger gas injectors. Has anyone used any of these brands before and can tell me the for and against? Any problems or issues you are having? Can anyone suggest something else instead which maybe better suited? I am starting to even consider liquid injection however due to the EL being an old model they dont supply any kits to suit and its hard to build up a kit yourself (going by what the workshops have said) |
