Hey....does anyone know where this stuff is usually sold?
I can imagine if I go to a LPG place theyll f**k me off with the usual s**t.... I need around 1mtr of pipe and a couple of fittings so I can relocate my convertor

i'm not 100% sure but I think the line has to be a single length from the tank to the converter. So you might need to fit a new line.

u can get annealed copper from there in 1 mtr lenghts this stuff is bendable u will also need the correct flaring tool to flare the copper beware if the flare is not done correctly the fitting WILL leak!

AFAIK you are allowed one interconnection.
You can use flexible LPG hose also - if the copper line may not be practical. When I did my BBM conversion on my ute, I had to relocate the converter over to the drivers strut tower from the passenger side - flexible hose and fittings - IIRC I didn't need to flare anything.

yeah thats why im doing it...
i think flexible hose is gunna cost a s**t because dont u need some sort of hose joining equipment?? oh yeah and i think it doesnt matter how many joins are in the line because ive seen the factory tickford systems have about 4 separate lengths in them all with flared joiners

Yeah, flexible might be pricey - can only ask I guess.
I'm not sure, I know my LPG installer pretty well , so price wasn't a bother. From what I remember, the fittings fitted over the hose ends under the outer fabric, and backing nuts over the hose tighten up with pipe spanners to make the fitting.

Pain to get the copper, I tred all the plumbing supplier shops and no one would sell me a short length. Hardware shops no chance. Ended up trying LPG installers until I found one that had a scrap piece. I got a tip that a refridgerent place would tbe the best place to try.

copper lines,when flexed will crack unless you have a pig tail in it,most fitters have a flexible hose from the copper line to the coverter to over come the stress of body flexing and any other movement.the hose is also safer and the easy option with fittings.

just use flexi line.
its not that expensive. I redid my service line from tank to T-peice, then two lines to twin conveters. all up it wasnt that expensive (did it 2 years ago so can't remember exact) no special tools. the fittings for the flexi line make it nice and easy

copper will not crack if bent correctly with the correct tools! if u do it cold it will it needs to be heated first with an oxy both our falcons and my sis commo have copper line to the converter! there is f**k all body movement and if the line is run and mounted correctly this will not be a problem think of it the same as brake lines! the only time they have the flex hose is to the calipers themselves in most cases!
