i change mine from gas to petrol while driving and don't have any problems. i was told not to change over under load because it will backfire. mine starts on petrol each time even if set on gas. i also run on petrol for around 10kms each time i run out of gas. this is also supposed to be the go to keep petrol system happy. i love my lpg saves me plenty, i had a crewman ss before (no lpg) and changed to ef fairy. Saves me plenty on fuel and is more useful (has a back seat that you can use) and soooo much nicer to drive

I do it all the time.
No probs.. The old systems with carbies needed to be run out between changeovers so the float bowl in the carbie was emptied

A lot of systems start on petrol and switch over to gas on their own.

I am pretty sure mine has a petrol start and then runs on gas, i always run it on petrol at least once every 45 days and keep 1/4 tank of fuel in the car all the time

If you have a steel fuel tank (which AFAIK the sedans do not) always keep a full tank of petrol in there otherwise the tank will rust inside.

Hardly any problems either, have an EB I starts on both though needs to crank a few more times on gas to start. Also have to increase the RPM a lil bit when changing otherwise all good, save lots of $$$!!

most lpg cars start on petrol run for about 2-6 seconds then change to lpg (aids starting) others change when you accelerate. I hear that vapour injection the engine has to warm up to a specific temp before it switches over.

there are many systems out there and they are all different.

Factory tickford systems start on petrol and change over virtually straight away.

Apparently ur sopposed 2 start on petrol to help lubrication for the head and keep fuel system up 2 scratch. I think the injection gas system automatically do that then they automatically change to gas???
