ALL AUTOMOTIVE GAS WORK SHOULD BE PERFORMED BY A LICENCED AUTOMOTIVE GAS FITTER AND TESTER.
This is guide of what can be done and I take NO RESPONSABILTY for any damage, loss or injury to property or persons following or using these methods. 1. Make sure the filler valve on the tank is fully open, this should fix it. 2. If it is fully open. Close the valve and then where you screw the nozzle on, see if the filler section is working properly by depressing the one way valve in. 3. If this is working properly you can disconnect the filler hose of the tank valve and with taking extreame caution wearing heavy protective gloves and in a well venterlated area with NO FIRES, GAS HEATERS, NAKED FLAMES or Simular around open the filler valve to check to see if any gas comes out. REMEMBER THIS IS A GUIDE ONLY AND YOU SHOULD ALWAYS GET YOUR CARS AUTOMOTIVE GAS PROBLEMS CHECKED OUT BY A LICENCED AUTOMOTIVE GAS FITTER AND TESTER. |

What does the tank gauge register ? Was the the tank empty ? How did the bowser operate ?, did it start to fill and shut off ? , etc.

well its displaying empty on the gauge so we went to fill it and it wouldn't work. we put it on and then it would want to fill but wouldn't do anything. then he tried another servo and it was the same problem. i haven't looked at it but am i right in looking at the valve new the tank gauge as the first step?

If you fast fill initially on a tank that is empty - you can freeze the AFL valve. You won't get any more in til it thaws (probably 20mins or so). Try slow fill for the first 5- 10L, and then see if it continues to fill on fast.

Was the weather extreme. In really cold days you can have issues filling. In hot days you usually cant fill up easily either. Has the car been sitting for a long period of time?

Had this happen to me on a couple of occasions just wont fill... I was told by a LPG fitter to do this..
Get a rag and a screwdriver.. take the cap of where you fill your LPG and press in with the rag over the screwdriver end (so it doesnt cause damage). do that a couple of times and it should now fill OK.... dunno why this works (didnt ask) but it does
