ambrose topped the timing sheets in practise, beating todd kelly and mark skaife, and also setting a record.
remember it's his first time there in a v8 supercar, so he's doing alright.

Five Fords, five Holdens. Just need those Fords to move up a bit more in the top ten.
Mind you there is still one more session of qualifying to go as well as a prediction of rain. Might see the top ten shuffle even more.
