Guys, just thought I would let you all know why Chinese copy wheels are dangerous. My brother was driving his ute this morning, hit a pothole after the QLD floods, and look at the resulting damage.

That was ONE pothole. It was the LHF wheel too! just thought with all the flood waters coming down south, this would be a good thing to make you guys aware of!

WHAT DID YOU EXPECT FROM CHEAP MAGS-----THE AVERAGE THICKNESS IS ABOUT 3MM.A ford mag, csa, mullens are 6mm-8mm thick and weigh between 12-14 kilos each, for 14,15,16,17 inch mags.i have seen plenty in the repair shops, some are 50\50 to repair. If you buy them,GET 2 SETS to cover breakages, and drive at 40 ks to avoid POTHOLES,AND BE ABLE TO STOP.CHEAP RUBBISH with BLING.Just for my records, what does 1 weigh?

Yes, but these are the cheap crap ones in question here, not the well made OEM products.

AND SO ARE PANELS AND LIGHTS THAT DONT FIT,the mags are made under oem control and have to pass quality tests--cheap labour off shore.

Hard to dodge potholes here in QLD at the moment, 1/2 of Brisbane was underwater 2 days ago!

They are a 245/35 19.--------------that will do it,19s are too big,4 wheel drive ride.no tyre cushioning and a solid hit on the mag.
