Thats awesome value. I was thinking of trading in my EL XR8 and getting a new car.

Only other box I'd tick is LSD.

Anyone else tempted by the end of financial year deals by Ford?

Pretty much it has it and its a feature so they listed it. You could also get a manual.

Of course. Why get a BF and just get a 4 speed... and why not grab a sunroof, and bigger wheels and a dvd player and...

The cheaper it is the less you think about spending more on options... and they make the most markup on options :p.

cool. hopefully they'll start shifting a few more of them then. Wonder if this is partly in response to Mitsubishi cutting the price of the 380 down to 27, 990?

i bought my 03 ba for 14 large. the previous owner bought it 16 months previous for $24 000 plus change and $3500 trade in. maybe i got it a bit cheaper due to it being a divorcee sale but that is some serious depreciation. no buying new cars for me when you can get them still under factory warranty and about 10g cheaper.

That's exactly it.
My father in law is looking at buying a new Commodore, he's always been a Ford man but just doesn't like the BA/BF.
I told him that anyone who buys brand new these days is fkn crazy, you're just throwing money down the drain.
After 2 years of it being released you end up with so many ex gov, fleet and lease vehicles that the market is flooded with them, they have to drop them to nothing to get rid of them.
