Pretty sure you go back to L's in that case and I don think there are any restrictions for learners.

Yeah, i believe that all P platers should be able to drive high performance vehicles. Its those dam 30-40 year olds that keep crashing all the time. someone should impose restrictions on them!

Why do you want an exemption?

Hold off a few years, you'll be a better driver, have more money, and be able to get a nicer car, than some beat up old skyline or VL.

Exactly. All the skylines have been sitting in storage in Japan for 15 years waiting for buyers, and all of the VL's, well um their owners weren't that cluey when it came to steering and suspension maintenance.

You guys do realise that you will wake up tomorrow morning and nothing would have changed. Even if tomorrow is your last day on earth, does it bother you that much that you wouldn't have owned a turbo in your short lifespan?

I've got a high powered vehicle exception from the hours of 8am - 4pm. Being a mechanic for Ford on my p's I have to drive turbo xr6's and xr8's around the workshop and take them for "test drives" and pick up parts / customers. Had to get a letter from the boss and fill out forms and pay a fee for it. But I spose i could drive around in my Ford uniform on my days off I could get away with driving my mates turbo cars :P
