After practice today Lowndes was the fastest man, followed by Tander and Courtney.
I'll be watching tomorrow and Monday, lets hope we can start crawling back into the game.

can anyone in the newcastle/port stephens area get channel seven digital, I got nothing hope it up by 1pm for todays race or at least back tomorrow.

GGGRRR HOLDUNGS everywhere in the top 5 for race one... down with Skaife!! going to miss the races due to work probably... but fingers crossed i can sneak in a bit of race time viewing..

skaife wins 2nd race, lowndes has the pace i hope he can use it in the last race, ford dominated the top 15 though

i know skaife won the round and the 1st 2 races and toddler won the 3rd but i thought it was great racing in 2 and 3. team vodafone and fpr have shown they can match it with the ve's. was good to see that the blue guys were finally competitive, espescially lowndesy. he was glued to the back of todd's car but to his credit he didn't crack under the pressure. gee lowndes loves to slide that car around.

it has always been a ford dominated track though so bit hard to say if the parity is even but was a definite imrovement i felt. good stuff. apart from the 4 main ve's the rest of them are nowhere.

That was awesome racing, not fussed that Holden won, more to the fact it was very close racing from both camps.... And that's what i love to see.

Awesome to see Lowndes get some pace back, lets hope it continues.

Also with parity, it's not about Ford v Holden, it's about the entire field v The Clayton team.

Not sure if anyone is aware of this, but Whincup was penalised for using the wrong brake rotors in race 3, Rick the prick ended up taking 3rd for the round, Lowndes 4th and Whincup 5th.

yeah read that this afternoon. what were they thinking. i doubt whincup would've known as he's just the driver and its his good work thats been penalised. no advantage. prolly more a disadvantage seeing they are heavier. maybe in this situation the team should cop a fine, not the driver but having said that if it was a holden driver and they just fined the team, we would be up in arms, so correct decision.
