Just wondering what kind of 400m times might I expect with the following mods:

Tickford 4L
1350 Tare
Camtech 942 227/227 Cam (valve springs to suit)
10.5:1 Compression
J3 to suit
Auto with high stall torque converter (exact spec not chosen yet)
4.11:1 LSD Diff.. 15" 65 rubber
MSD2, 10mm, leads Good Sparkplugs
Mandrel extractors into 2.5" System. 100 cell cat and 1 muffler

Probably forgotten the other mods..

There must be heaps of cars around like this with these mods.. curious what times they make. I know its not possible to say with accuracy what my car might achieve.

Any thoughts?
Does this cam require fuel reg and pump mods to get the most out of it?

Thanks for your thoughts.

Incredibly unhelpful. If you have nothing positive to contribute Id like to invite you to refrain from commenting on my posts.

If people couldn't predict how their car would perform and benchmark against other similar builds, how would they know how to build them to suit a certain level of performance.

how long is a piece of string?
I would say no faster than a 15.0 - 15.5 build it dyno it and run it and see.
Ive seen cars with similar mods as in same cam with similar other mods and one had 20kw more but ran .5 slower than the other.

oh and forget the tare weight, you will find its curb weight is more around 1500kg

Considering Manual Eb Xr6's ran 15.6 stock, I'd say he could definitely shave off more than 0.1 - 0.5 seconds. The J3's make a big difference IMHO

When I owned a boxcar the consensus was it didn't take too much to get these vehicles running 14's. Some people said exhaust, intake, tune would do it but I was more reserved.

I'd say that n/a with the mods you have described, you could put this car into in a mid (maybe) to high 14 (more likely) sec category.

High 13's are also achievable for these cars N/A however require a lot of head work..
