webber has another frustrating exit due to reliability of the williams. he was a definate podium and possibly a win given how difficult it is to overtake around monte carlo and he was fueled to go longer than kimi and fernando.

good storming drive from ms to get back to 5th. i'm surprised damon hill didn't voice his opinions as didn't schuey back into him to get his second world title. hard to say in my opinion whether it was intentional or not. how was he to know where the other drivers were on track. if there was radio chat telling him or him asking then surely that would've been aired in the stewards enquiry.

all over now though. good to see he didn't give up and got fastest lap of race in process. alonso will be hard to beat now as points look to be shared between more and more drivers as the season goes on and teams improve.

to quote alonso. monaco not really a grand prix its just a show for the people.

Really?

I love monaco for the sheer spectacle of it. Piloting an F1 around that track makes for good watching - let alone when they're trying to pass each other.

And I think the drivers know this. Put on a show for the waelthy people of a small french province.

But the big question is... did schuey park it on that hairpin on purpose? I'm not convinced that he did it intentionally. Are these guys so good that human error is simply not a part of the equation??

i think beinn there would be great - lots of action, women and cars ... but as for decent racing on tv - nup, get pole, get the first corner and have good pits stops and nothing wil beat you... but anyway.. that's my 2 cents worth .. well done to the Schum though, he needs all the points he can get .. I wonder how things will go next year when Alonso moves to Mclaren... ?

seeing as how webber is still under the management of flav. briotore maybe they'll try to get him into alonso's vacated seat.

if takuma sato stopped on track nothing more would be said but because it was ms and the effect it had on the final positions in qual then it got made into a mountain.

Tell me more, Mclaren and Renno both have vacant seats next year if Kimi moves on to Farrari as wildly expected. Those are the obvious ones for Mark but not the only ones.

I think that's Flav with his drivers managers hat on talking up Webber ready for the contract negotiations I don't see it as an offer for a seat at Renault just yet as Webber has expressed his desire to stay put.

Raikonnen wont sign on as a 2nd driver - he will want to be no1
i think its more likely to be Alonso Webber
