I would also think with the computor inteligents of the new box for the driving style and the ability to apply the write amount of throttle with the gearbox not doing the old up shift when easing the throttle for tracksion and changing down again when getting back on the gas. You could feather the throttle to get maxium acceleration without the box shifting up and down like on pre BF fords. Typhon with 6 manual trying to feather the throttle and ride the clutch to get it off the line would cause heat on the friction surface's and slippage hence slower ET's. Plus not sure on ratio difference of the 6 auto and 6 manual but if the auto does have a lower 1st it would help as well. |
