Ford V8 Supercar stars from Ford Performance Racing (FPR) and Britek are set to cameo in Alice Springs this Wednesday 20 June in a planned stopover on their way from Melbourne to Darwin.

Mark Winterbottom, Steven Richards and Jason Bright are making the special visit to meet their local fans at Centralian Motors ahead of round six of the Championship series at Hidden Valley this weekend.

In conjunction with Centralian Motors' biggest ever and multi million dollar sale, drivers will be available for autographs and photos with FPR and Britek posters on offer. A free BBQ lunch and soft drinks will be provided.

Customers who test drive a new Ford on the day will be accompanied by Winterbottom, Richards or Bright for an exclusive and extra special insight into Ford's range of high performance road cars including Falcon favourites.

Attendees have the chance to win a coveted Ford Racing jacket signed by every single Ford V8 Supercar driver including the likes of Craig Lowndes, Jamie Whincup, Russell Ingall, James Courtney, John Bowe and Steven Johnson.

Post Centralian Motors visit the drivers will head to the nearby Frontier Camel Farm for a short ride and a visit with the baby camels, before jetting to Darwin to contest the weekend's V8 Supercar event.

FPR and Britek will hit the track in Darwin alongside Ford's additional V8 Supercar teams from 22- 24 June for qualifying and three 42 lap sprint races.
