Deisel focus? Where do I sign the dotted line. I came pretty close to buying a diesel citroen C4 last year but decided to hold out for a diesel ford product.

having been in one of these in the UK, it's hard to pick the diference between petrol and diesel performance wise. unsure on a release date yet

If you have driven a Mazda 6 you have been close to driving a new Mondeo, they use the same platform and share most of the same parts including engines, including the diesel, we might have only got the Mazda 6 diesel late last year but it has been an option for years in the UK in both the Ford Mondeo and Mazda 6.

Oh and worse of all Volvo uses this platform as well!

If you ever get under a Mazda 2, 3 or 6 you will FoMoCo from some cheap European country stamped into most of the suspension and the Ford logo cast into the plastics underneath.

I can tell you it will be a good thing if they do bring them over here, Mazda 6's aren't slow (but I don't think the 2.3 is available in the Mondeo), are pretty reliable and handle well, basically the Mondeo is a Mazda 6 with different interior and exterior looks, it is just a pity they don't use the MPS running gear (I would love to own a Mondeo wagon if it was fitted with MPS running gear)

I must admit, that the new Mondeo looks damn good.
If the new Falcon looks like the artists impressions that have been going around, i'd buy a Mondeo instead. Much better looking.
I'd still like to have a drive of an older ST24 Mondeo.

they really should put the xr5T motor in it and then the MPS 4wd. that'd be sweet as!
