A picture is worth a thousand words :)

The oldskool colours seem to be a bit flat generally - I want something with a bit of depth.

I think I'll be happy with phantom but I might get some extra dark pearl put through it as well.

Oh and fuzion as you know, I was in performance ford last issue :P
(even if the car was in primer... )

Paint your car black with a deep red pearl.. Well that's what I'm thinking for myself. But phantom should be the better colour for sure.

menace can look VERY different depending on the lighting. I've seen the one they have at Gregory's Ford here at night under mercury vapour lights and during the day - sunlight. It looks like a different car.

I'll wait till I see it in the flesh when I look in at Ford soon and pass any real judgement then. :)

Ack, I don't like that new light blue at all.

Anyway, I now have the paint in my possession and it starts going on in a week :D
I ended up going with the phantom, or atleast as close as the paint shop could make to the genuine ford colour. It seems to colour shift alot just on the card the painter sprayed up for me so I can't wait to see it on the car

These pics are all of the same card - just at different angles the flash it shows it up as different colours. It's all the same purple to look at (and it is distinctly purple rather than the blue it shows up as under the flash) so the colour shift in the bottom right is just how the pearl is coming out on camera.

Image

The closest to how it really looks is the bottom left of the picture, to the left of my thumbnail. The car will be painted black first and then 2 light layers of the colour over the top.

:D

Hey Titan Ford already have a BF Falcon and guess what you name it, it in menace. I tell ya it look hot. The colour is completly different to what is in the picture. You have to see this colour in the flesh to really admire it.
