What does everyone think? Is anyone watching the racing this weekend?
Personally, I have never really payed much attention to F1, primarily due to it being boring as batsh*t....no overtaking, same results, etc etc But what a huge difference the new cars and KERS has made. I can't help but think that Lewis Hamilton isn't going to anything more than a ripple in the ocean this season. Without his driving aids he seems pretty lost. All the old pro's are rising back to the top again....ie Jenson Button. I think it was something like 8 different cars in the top 10 yesterday? And once they get onto a bigger/faster track elsewhere, should be very interesting to watch. |

I reckon the new rules are good. Puts good drivers to the test, not good technology. Makes this season much more interesting to see who really are the s**t drivers out there without technological aids.
Bring on the real racing phong =P~

Not many more technologically aided systems in the F1 cars, to cut costs and focus on drivers rather then technology. There are few aids left, such as the anti stalling system.
Team Braun did come out well though...bloody good effort. I find the new look F1 cars pretty funny, shorter (width wise) rear wing and fatter tyres...makes it look like a toy. Was funny watching the warm up lap with everyone fish tailing to keep their tyres warm haha. phong =P~

thought it was still boring as s**t.
What was the go with the pace car at adelaide? They had the accident cleared in 2 laps but they circulated behind the pace car for like 10 laps because they had to cycle through half the field to find the leader which they should have picked up when it first came out. Then they let all the lapped cars back onto the lead lap!!! total load of B.S. if you ask me. makes even V8 Supercars look better.

I believe so...It's a shame he didn't actually get very far this year at the Melbourne's Grand Prix after being hit by Barrichello (sp?). s**t thing is, Barrichello didn't even get a penalty for ramming into poor Webber. Also in the last race (can't remember one...even though it was last night), Webber finished 8th I think instead a possible third due to a down pour. He was only 8th because he had to pit to get intermediate tyres put on and bad luck to him it had to rain down hard. I think the races are much closer now and there is more driver input, which is what it should have been in the first place. Many more over takings and with the added power boost...makes it more exciting. I say it is much better now then the last 2 or so years. phong =P~
