whats every1 think??
i think the new points system should be the go, reward thoes at the front of the field but no shootout that just suks. watching the top 10 go at it on cold tyres/brakes for 1 lap was one of the best parts of v8 racing. thoes that have been to races would remember the crowd going off when each car crossed the line to record thier time and the excitement of waiting to see what the last car out can do. i will miss the shootout for sure.

I guess im prob a little old fashioned when it comes to qualifying.

The top 10 shootout was a great spectacle on TV... but that's about it IMO.

I think drivers should be ranked on their grid according to overall pace during the opening of the weekend... not just based on their fortune/luck in a 1 lap sprint.

Point system looks a lot better. Get some aggression and passion back in to it

Qualifying seems ok....sort of a mix between F1 and the top 10 shootout idea

agreed. qual is same as f1 which i really enjoyed even though i'd only be watching on live timing on the net you'd see the sector times come up. hopefully ch 7 will show more qualifying this year. thats one area where ch 10 could have been better. more prac and qual.

considering how many races are won purely by the order they qualify (ie, if there is no overtaiking etc) then i agree completely

i agree and disagree with the top 10 shoot out, great to watch, but s**t that someone whose been 10th all weekend can suddenly jump to 1st.
