i was coming home from the drags on dec 28th at eastern creek, and what do i see, a red p plater pulled over by an undercover police car. it was a lime green VE commodore, as i drove past it, still checking it out, the commodore had a set of "GREEN P PLATES". how unfair is that. so keep an eye out...

yep there is sneeky actions being played by the cops nowdays but what about entrapment could you take it to court and only wear a undue noise or driving fine instead of a "hoon" conviction?

That wouldn't happen to be the same one that rocked up at Joe's Christmas party last year? There's a black Territory camera car (front and rear mount cameras) travelling up and down Macquarie pass on a regular basis. Got that license plate recognition technology so they don't even have to pull you over. |

I agree totally that no-one should be speeding or hooning, having learn't the hard way myself. but fully licenced drivers displaying p - plates is illegal especially on a turbo typoon which it is illegal for p -platers to drive. Whatever happened to setting a good example

i have been on the job for 16 years now and only now do i have an underderstanding of you guys on the otherside of the blue line.
however, saying that, being "undercover" means just that. if you know we are on the roads, taking on any appearance, maybe, just maybe, these testosterone fueled hooligans might think twice about doing anything agains the law

its a big maybe. but point well spoken. Unfortunatly some people don't listen and will keep speeding / hooning untill they get done or end up killing someone.
