Well apparently my mum has found out by a "very reliable source" (according to dad) that marcos ambrose will be back next year pilotting an FPR car.
More details to come, i think dad said it was a full time drive, but i think it will most likely just be an enduro drive, maybe he will be replacing brighty when he goes to his own team?
Any else heard this?
(i will edit this post as i find out the full details from dad when he gets home)

he hasnt been having the best of runs over there, and to be honest i dont think he is driving what he expected to drive either

Well as i suspected Brighty is leaving FPR next year for his own team.
So maybe this rumour has some credibility.
Anyways to some details it came from one of my mums work friends who's dad knows someone close to the v8 cicuit or marcos ambrose 9cant rememebr which one).
But i think the message may have been lost in transit that it will only be an enduro drive.

i very much doubt ambrose will be back in a full time drive in v8's. i won't say ever but it will be a few years. he is a very determined character and extremely talented and is not doing too badly in craftsmen trucks. at least he is qualifying well enough to make the cut. he is racing exactly what he expected to be racing. you can't just walk up to the top class over there. start at bottom. he's is being recognised also. would be good to see him back in a v8 for enduro's though. bathurst one race he never conquered so i reckon he would like to have another crack.

im with prydey. it wouldnt suprise me if he came back for the enduros, but it would be a major f**k up to have shifted his family over there to compete 1 season and then come back. maybe one day he'll look at coming back, but id say he be committed to giving nascar a few years before making any decisions on that

i hope he stays over there and follows what he wants to do, maybe its just wishful thinking

i dont know if the v8's have the interest these days like it did when he was around

Like i said i think a little information got lost in transit so to speak, the info about it being an enduro drive.
To what i heard last week he still owns that house on the gold coast hinterland.

yeah apparently he gets crap lap times and that kind of stuff in the nascar "naughter" race like it takes skill to go round in circles:P but if he does come back it would be good some light entertain meant in the supercars maybe he might wear a balacava and actually bop murph:P

I dont think Ambrose will be back full time for a while if at all. As said earlier he is a very determined character and wasn't expecting to win off the bat. Winning will take time and Amrose wants to be successful over there.

Ambrose finished third overnight in the Craftman Truck series. Not too shabby :P

on the v8's just then it said that he just qualifiedd 3rd or something and has the best record of any rookie yet.

or some shizzle.

they all so said that he has 7 trucks at his disposle.

so yeh i dont think he will be back full times for a while.
