Anyone know anything about these? Was talking to some guy selling one today.
Reckons that Tickford did the bodykit and some o0ther blah blah on it. Only 200 made and some are turbo.
I went out and had a lookat it and it's got T badges on the gaurds and on the instrument cluster. Looks genuine.
I did a google, and they seem to be a totally older different model that come up. Tickford were English wern't they? so they also modded cars over there.

Aha. That's why I thought the clubsprint capri's seemed a bit different. Theres a whole heap of those things getting around wollongong.

Tickford did produce SE Clubsprint Capris in the early '90's

The SE Capri Clubsprint I was sold between July 1992 and July 1993.
Engine specs: 1.6L DOHC 16 valve Intercooled Turbo
Power 100kw @ 6000 rpm
Torque 184Nm @ 3000 rpm
Bore 78mm
Stroke 83.6mm
Capacity 1597cc
Comp Ratio 7.9:1
Unique features: Intercooled turbo with Multi-Point EFI. Belt driven cam gears with hydraulic valve lash adjusters.

Colours: Pearl Black
Price new: $31 550
Numbers Manufactured: 200

SE Capri Clubsprint II was sold between June 1993 and November 1994.

Numbers manufactured: 200 (34 green turbo/108 green non turbo, 10 white turbo/48 white non turbo)

The one I saw was dark blue, but that was yonks ago now!

Probably Poly Green (as mentioned above for series 2) ... unless it was resprayed a different colour.

But I know Poly Green can look like dark blue ... my XG ute was the same in different lighting.
