Watched a couple of races last night on TV and I have to say it's one of the fastest tracks I've seen. very nice circuit and location thou!

It was a good track and weather was perfect all weekend.
260km/h down the main straight. The commentators described it as a medium/slow track. Most of those photos are from turn 10. which is one of the faster turns, aside from turn 1. (the kink in the main straight) I've got a stack of photo here and some short clips too. When i'm out of hospital on Wednesday i'll have plenty of spare time for a few days so i'll post up some more. |

From where I was seating it's a bloody fast track with the slowest hairpin turn entry at 70kph. sure the main straight is only 260km/h but that is due to gearing to suit the a*** for maximum acceleration.
anyways, those commentators knows jack s**t about fine tuning cars to suit the given track and you better shout me a beer next time the race is up there.
