I think it sorta like when holden brought out the HD Holden. Ford still had the XP falcon, which looked dated, but still looked like a great car, still does.
Just as the BFII looks dated, but still looks ok against the VE. |

{USERNAME} wrote: what about the v8's? vz hsv's are 297kw gt 290(plus the gt is heaver). ss now 270kw xr8 still 260(weighs more aswell). ford sixes are well ahead of holdes because of the turbo and all, but seriously need to do somthin about the v8s. apparently the ss can do 0-100km/h in the 5 second bracket making it faster then all v8 fords. thank god for the typhoon
let us not forget the fear people have about rising petrol costs and theyre assosiation of V8 with Petrol Guzzler... its the volume selling XT/Futura/Omega that make or break a model |

I really cant understand how holden could have spent 1 billion dollars on the new ve. the advancements dont seem to be that great.
i dont even think ford spent that much on the change from au to ba. |

its not that bad.......compared to the VE and all the money spent on the VE....the BF came out quiet good with probably half the amount of money spent on it to.
