i was told by a guy that the FORD V8supercars use a chev 304 block. THis was his arguement.

Do you think ford are going to say that they use a Chev 304 block on their website?

All the Teams are handed the blocks by the governing body at the start of each season. This is to ensure that they are all the same capacity, the only part they are alowed to go haywire with is induction, and exaust, which is why V8 touring cars will never let you photograph the seasons induction setup

im bewildered! does anyone have any solid proof that ford DONT use chev blocks????

Don't want any bad public perception...

When i was in surfers paradise, ross stone gave us a tour of his pit and we weren't aloud any photos at all, and then we went to pwr and the guy was really gud he said just don't take pics under the car or under the bonnet. but he didn't mind bout anythin else. but u could see how paranoid ross was about that sort of thing. ahhwell hes still a champ and i guess who would care about pwr anyways lol!
