In a month i will be visiting Victoria fora holiday. I was curious are you able to visit the FPV factory or a Ford factory of somekind ? I know they do open days thru out the year, but is there like a front gift shop or spot you can just look at a few things, like a heritage museam or something ? I think its in Victoria ? anybody that can help ?

there is the ford discovery centre down in geelong, like a musuem run by ford australia. they've got there own gift shop to trap u with ended up blowing 300 bucks in there.

and i also read somewhere that the fpr factory are open or something and u can look at the cars being worked on and theyu have a shop there too. not sure where that one is tho.

When I was in Melbourne last year I went to visit the FPV visitor centre twice in 2 weeks and on both occasions it was closed. I thought that was a real bastard since it was only a couple of months after they advertised the place as open to the public everyday.
